Google Play question

I have an LG V30 phone. I purchased a couple of albums on the Google Play Music App. I have been trying to put the albums on the SD Card. I get a storage unavailable message. I tried to put these albums on internal storage. I get the same message.

Has anyone with an Android phone have this issue? I could use some help. Very frustrating.

Creem Magazine: Exile on Main Street review. August 1972.

I collect rock magazines, especially Creem magazine, mostly between the years 1971-1974. When I am looking through them, I find the reviews of now iconic records to be particularly interesting.

The initial take or first impression of a revered record reveals how people felt about it at the moment of its release, without all the baggage that comes from decades of interpretation and re-interpretation by the fans and the media. We can only understand and love these records in hindsight...

Sounds like a whole new premium series from Mobile Fidelity/Music Direct is being introduced, with the first title being Santana's Abraxus (catalog # UD1S 001). I wonder if this will be something of a modern day UHQR series for them?

On a related note, wonder what happened with Analogue Productions' new generation UHQR series? Chad bought the brand a couple of years ago, but so far nothing has been introduced under that label. Amused to Death would have been an interesting...

Hana ML's tracking ability, is it really that good?

I've seen many users here praising the Hana ML cartridge for it's tracking ability, is it really that good, also on difficult pressings?

Having two of my most problematic records in mind: Does it manage to track "Ghost - Meloria: He is" or "Opeth - Deliverance & Damnation: Death Whispered A Lullaby" properly? And how does it perform on test records?

--- About myself

I spent the last 3 years dealing with inner groove distortion and manufacturing defects, and I'm really tired of it....

Is there any point in attacking Adam Sandler anymore?

I'm sure just reading the guy's name would make some of you cringe but this is something that's been on my mind since the release of Pixels and people are STILL talking about it and calling it the worst movie ever made. To me, I don't think there's anything new to talk about. He's a dumb guy that makes and stars in dumb films. However, people seemed to like him okay in his early days (SNL as the Operaman character and They're All Gonna Laugh at You!) and even after that, they seemed to like...

Carl Reiner stars as Rob Petrie, writer for TV's Alan Sturdy Show

Two years later producer Sheldon Leonard would read the script -- which Reiner had written as a vehicle for himself, based on his own life -- and tell Reiner he was miscast.

After considering Johnny Carson and Eileen Brennan, Leonard would eventually cast Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore as Rob and Laura Petrie.

The most important concert you've been to!
And why...

Some shows/tours by an artist or band are just another show, or a reunion money maker or just plain blah, or even bad (like those from the thread: "the most boring concert you've been to").

Then there the concerts we've attended that for personal reasons (your all time bucket list concert, with chills moments throughout), or a concert where the artist(s) are touring...

Well, here's a puzzler that I have been searching this, and numerous other forums for, and have gotten nowhere, and am hoping some of you could offer suggestions.

From this forum, I've figured out how to burn some SACD iso images I've had sitting around to blank DVDs and get them to play in a non-hacked player (thanks to a $12 pickup from eBay of a simple old Sony Blu-ray I picked from this handy list:...

Hello,

I wanted to start a new thread for people that are interested in the sound quality and only the sound quality of this new record so that you do not have to look through page upon page of complaints about price, shipping, etc.

This is a review of the sound quality of the new Yes Fragile (Mofi Ultradisc One-Step 45rpm 2LP Vinyl).
This is not a review of the packaging
This is not a review of the price or the cost of shipping.
This is not a review of Mofi's business practices.

I have for a while wanted to put together a song by song thread for Exile on Main Street. One of my favourite albums and one that I think stands up to close scrutiny. There are many cool details I only found out from various forums including the excellent IORR and of course this one, in particular the great The Rolling Stones album-by-album thread (It's about damn time)! I have just seen the Kiss song by song thread and don't intend any plagiarism of this idea, it is just coincidence I am...

The "Official" All Purpose Heavy Metal and Hard Rock Thread

So I’ve been thinking of a creating a something that is pretty much an all purpose heavy metal and hard rock thread where people can talk about whatever they want. However, I thought I’d add a little structure to it by contributing a review of a band, album, or song I like about once a week or so. (Fair warning: I like a lot of stoner rock and alternative metal stuff that originates from the 90’s; so be prepared to read (or scroll through) some stuff that might not always be your cup...

Robbie Robertson - did he rip off The Band?

OK...did a search for Robbie Robertson and found nothing so I created a new thread. Sure it's been discussed but I couldn't find it (is the search working properly?).

Here's the deal, I've read 0 books on the subject and have only leafed through some articles about the subject. I'm not an expert on the inner workings of The Band but I do know that the fortunes of Robbie Robertson vs. the rest of The Band were two very different things. I also believe that several lawsuits have gone down...

Pete Townshend says guitar rock is dead

The punchline is that he claims this is due to the excessive skill of young musicians!

Pete Townshend Says Rock Isn’t Dead, But Guitar Based Rock Is

My own take is that Pete has a bad case of "Old Fart's Syndrome" where aging rockers have decided that they are going to take Rock'n'Roll with them when they die, piled in the hull of their Viking funeral barge.
